Loam Candles is a small batch, handmade candle company based in Los Angeles.

Founder Jessica White approached me to help with imagery for the launch of her first line, thematically led by the Community Garden candle. Her experience as a gardener in LA inspired the scents, which are made from natural ingredients such as tomato leaf, green fig, lavender, and yuzu blossoms.

Jessica currently makes her sales online, through stockists, and in-person at markets and other events. She crafts the scents and pours the candles herself, so it was important that her introduction remain authentic to her operation.

I shot and edited three sets of photographs to be used for web, social, press, and ads.
