I was approached to design a few t-shirts for this Chicago based drywall hanging and taping company, as a gift to the owner. Interestingly, the business has been successful for 3 decades with no definitive branding or web presence. This made for a fun and challenging project.

I designed a type logo to start, inspired by sturdy branding found on vintage industry equipment and operational print materials. I also referenced the angles and movements of the practice. With the type logo anchoring my process, I designed the drywall character icon, along with several single screen options for t-shirts and a service jacket.
